Chetna Pande revealed that the success of ‘Haunted 3D’ came at the end of what he called the “worst six months” of his life. The actress admitted that she is still trying to come to terms with the film’s reception, which followed many personal struggles and years of rejection from the industry. Adding to the weight of the moment, Chetna said that her mother is receiving treatment for liver disease, while her lover and pet have been battling the disease. With so much going on at home, he said his parents couldn’t really celebrate and have fun with him.

Speaking to India Today, Chetna said, “My friend was not well, my mother was not well, and then my pet was diagnosed with an illness.” It felt like going backwards. I almost forgot what happiness is. I felt so much pain in my mind that I was completely broken and I was very low. This is why this moment feels so special. I can’t believe that after going through such a difficult phase, something so beautiful can happen.“

He called ‘Haunted 3D’ a blessing and said that its success has given him hope that things will work out in the end. The artist looked back on his journey and felt that all the hardships he faced were worth it. “I think we as actors face a lot, from endless anticipation to rejection. And then when you get a film like this, which also creates great numbers, it feels like all my obstacles were worth it. Every failure in my life that has broken me has made me stronger and prepared me for today. Now I see that everything was done for the right reasons,” he said.

After years of being rejected, losing opportunities, and being dropped from films despite being confirmed, seeing people like his performance as Sunheri means a lot to him. “It feels incredible. I can’t process it. There was a time when it didn’t come out, so from there to this tour, it feels very special,” he said.
