Madhuri Dixit took to her Instagram account to share a picture with Saroj Khan and added a long caption with them. Mourning the death of his former ace music artist, the artist wrote: “Still can’t believe that master ji is no more. Losing a friend, philosopher & guide like him is so painful. It was difficult for me to express my grief in words. I spoke to her daughter while she was in the hospital and she told me that Saroj ji is fine. Two days later, he was gone.The Guru-shishya bond we shared, the assurance that she would be my mother on the sets, I will miss everything. Today on the occasion of Guru Purnima, I pay homage to him.No one can make women look beautiful, important and attractive on screen like her. He made everything look like poetry. Being beaten by him, I told him, “Saroji ji, agar aap shakkar hoti na, I will add it to my cup of tea and drink it.” He laughed a lot at this. I will miss that funny laugh.”Madhuri also said, “The first time I met her was when I was shooting Maine Rab Se for Karma. Saroj ji asked me many questions, one of which was ‘Where did you learn to dance?’ Unfortunately, our sequence was removed from the song.
