The Skoda Slavia sedan debuted worldwide in 2021. Now, almost five years later, the model is set to receive its first mid-life look, bringing a variety of designs and updates. The upcoming Slavia facelift has been tested on Indian roads several times over the past few months, with all the details revealing new features. New spy photos of the Slavia facelift have surfaced, revealing details of the sedan’s changes. The latest photos also give a glimpse inside the cabin, although most of the dashboard continues to be hidden under a thick camouflage.

The spy photo offers the first look inside the Slavia facelift. Although the masking still covers most of the dashboard, the cabin looks unchanged. A free display of the infotainment and steering wheel design available can be seen in the test car. Based on the changes introduced by the Kushaq facelift, the Slavia is expected to get a bigger screen, an updated digital instrument cluster and new upholstery options. Ideally, they are expected to continue unchanged, keeping the same engine options. Like Kushaq, Skoda expects to bring a new 8-speed torque converter automatic for the 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine, replacing the first 6-speed unit. The other engine is a 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder, turbo gasoline.Design-wise, it is expected to get a redesigned fascia with sharper headlights, a redesigned grille that includes an integrated spoiler, similar to the Kushaq facelift and a new bumper. On the sides, the sedan can get 16-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, the changes may include a redesigned boot lid, a smaller tail lamp housing, and other styling enhancements. The sedan will also have turn signals. The current model uses halogen signals at both ends; the facelifted model will be replaced with LED units. Modified headlights with variable indicators will be placed in the lower part of the exterior, with the design of the interior and exterior similar to those seen on luxury sedans.Photo: Rushlane/Instagram
