Ashok Pathak and Durgesh Kumarknown for playing Binod and Bhushan in a web series. The video quickly went viral, and fans were very pleased with the use of the show’s famous songs.Now, Ashok Pathak has opened up about the memorable encounter, describing it as one of the proudest moments of his life.
‘I’m still processing all the love’
In an interview with India Today, Ashok revealed that he has been receiving many messages of appreciation ever since the Prime Minister shared the video on social media. The actor said he never thought that a simple interaction would receive such attention.The reel, which PM Modi wrote, “A moment with Binod,” struck a chord with fans across the country.Speaking about the event, Ashok said, “For every Indian, it is a matter of great pride when the Prime Minister appreciates your work. The love he experienced and later shared in the video himself made the moment very special. It was great to see the love the audience has given the Panchayat being acknowledged on such a scale.”
PM Modi’s opening speech made everyone laugh
Although the interaction was short-lived due to the Prime Minister’s busy schedule, Ashok revealed that Prime Minister Modi immediately softened the mood with a line that any Panchayat enthusiast would recognise.“The moment he met us, he smiled and said, ‘Sun raha hai na Binod?’ Everyone started laughing,” said Ashok.The actor said the meeting was very meaningful because of what happened to his family back home.“I come from a small village, and when my father heard that I would meet the prime minister, he was very happy. It was a proud and emotional moment for my whole family,” he said.
Ram Charan the praise made the day even more special
Apart from meeting PM Modi, Ashok also got a chance to interact with actor Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Konidela at the event.The actor revealed that the family spoke positively about the Panchayat and expressed their interest in the outcome.“Ram Charan and Upasana ji told me how much they loved watching the Panchayat. Hearing this from them was very special and made the experience unforgettable,” he said.Ashok also shared details about Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi, revealing that he dubbed the Hindi dialogues for a character named Kurmaiya in the film.
The fans are waiting Panchayat season 5
On the work front, Ashok Pathak and Durgesh Kumar are expected to return to Panchayat Season 5. The popular series will also feature Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik and Jeetendra Kumar reprising their roles.
