Maruti Suzuki has revised the prices of the Dzire sedan in India, making most models more expensive by up to Rs 7,500. The price change comes at a time when the Dzire continues to enjoy high demand, as it emerged as the country’s best-selling car in 2025 with sales of around 2.14 lakh units.The entry-level egg has not been affected by the recent update and continues to be priced at Rs 6.25 lakh, ex-showroom. However, all the other brands in the list went up in price.Among the models, CNG models have seen a significant rise. The VXi CNG and ZXi CNG variants are now priced higher by Rs 7,500. The VXi CNG, which was earlier available at Rs 8.03 lakh, is now priced at Rs 8.10 lakh, ex-showroom. Similarly, the ZXi CNG variant now costs Rs 9.11 lakh, up from its previous price of Rs 9.03 lakh, ex-showroom.The petrol-powered VXi manual and AMT variants have received a price hike of Rs 5,000 each. Following the facelift, the VXi MT is priced at Rs 7.22 lakh, while the VXi AMT now costs Rs 7.67 lakh, both ex-showrooms. A similar price hike of Rs 5,000 has been applied to the ZXi MT and ZXi AMT variants. These models are now available at Rs 8.22 lakh and Rs 8.67 lakh, ex-showroom. The top-of-the-line ZXi+ model has also gone up by Rs 5,000. The ZXi+ MT is now priced at Rs 8.91 lakh, while the AMT variant is priced at Rs 9.36 lakh, ex-showroom.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Engine specifications
Under the hood, the Dzire continues with Maruti Suzuki’s three-cylinder petrol engine. The engine produces 80.46 bhp and 111.7 Nm of torque and is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. Also on offer is a factory-fitted CNG version, where the same engine produces 68.79 bhp and 101.8 Nm of torque.Efficiency remains one of the sedan’s greatest strengths. The petrol-powered Egg delivers a fuel efficiency of 24.79 kml, while the CNG model delivers 33.73 km/kg.
