Kia confirms price hike on all models: Here's the size

Kia India has announced that it will increase the prices of all its models from July 1, 2026. The car maker said that the revision will be up to 2 percent and has been necessary due to the increase in additional costs and operating costs.The upcoming hike will be applicable to all Kia models sold in India, including mass market offerings like Sonet, Syros, Seltos, Carens and Carens Clavis, as well as luxury models like Carnival MPV and EV6 and EV9 electric SUVs. The Carens Clavis EV will also be affected by the redesign.Although Kia did not disclose the price changes, the increase varies by car and variant. Based on the current prices, this upgrade could translate to around Rs 2.6 lakh on select models and variants. In an official statement, the company said it has absorbed most of the price increases internally to reduce the impact on customers. The announcement makes Kia one of several manufacturers to review prices amid rising production and labor costs. The company said that the decision was taken after a careful analysis of the volume of acquisitions and total expenditure.Customers planning to buy a Kia still have a short window to buy at current prices before the revised prices come into effect next month. The new rates will apply to businesses worldwide from July 1, 2026.Kia currently has a range of models in India based on internal combustion engines, electric and imported models.
