Hyundai bids farewell to the i20 N with the new Shadow Edition: Limited to 100 units!

Korean Automaker Hyundai recently unveiled the latest generation i20 in Brazil, bringing significant changes over its predecessor. The updated hatchback is expected to make its way to more international markets in the coming months. Before this, the company revealed the Shadow Edition of the i20 N available in the Australian market. Unlike Hyundai’s N Line offerings, the N-badged models are designed with a focus on performance, and Australia remains one of the few markets where the i20 N is sold.

The hatchback is equipped with 18-inch forged alloy wheels

The i20 N Shadow Edition is limited to just 100 units, and the special edition receives a cosmetic upgrade while retaining the standard mechanical package. Plans to launch in other markets are still unknown, and it is also unclear whether the new generation model will change the functionality of the N-badge.Talking about the engine first, it continues to get a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine producing 204hp and 275Nm. The engine comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, which sends power to the front wheels. Hyundai claims that the hot hatch can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 6.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 230km/h.
