Citroen India has launched the new electric Citroen e-C3X in the Indian market with prices starting at Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The company is also offering the 2026 eC3X with a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) plan that brings the car’s purchase price down to Rs 6.29 lakh, while battery usage costs Rs 2.26 per km. Interested customers can book an EV online or visit their nearest location. Shipments are expected to begin soon. The Citroen eC3X receives updates on its exterior and interior, along with some additional features, and now it also gets a lot more. It is offered in three variants – Live, Live (O) and Shine. The electric hatchback competes with Tata Tiago EV and MG Comet in the Indian market. Talking about the battery first, the 2026 eC3X continues to get a 29.2kWh battery, offering a MIDC-approved range of 325km – an improvement of 79km over the previous model. Drive is sent to the front wheels via a 57hp and 143Nm electric motor. The EV can accelerate from 0-60km/h in 6.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 107km/h. EC3X supports both AC and DC charging methods. A full charge from 10 percent to 100 percent takes 10 hours and 30 minutes using an AC charger, while a fast DC charger can raise the battery level from 10 percent to 80 percent in 57 minutes.
The 2026 eC3X gets a number of features and design updates, including LED projector headlamps, new 15-inch dual-spoke alloy wheels and power steering, adjustable ORVMs and lights. It features V-shaped DRLs, LED tail lamps, body guards, wheel arches, halogen fog lamps and skid plate inserts.The cabin now has a two-tone blue and beige look with leatherette seats, while the dashboard design remains unchanged. New features include a 7-inch TFT instrument cluster, auto-dimming IRVM, wireless charger, dashcam and a six-speaker JBL audio system. Dashcam and JBL installation available as extras.Safety equipment includes six airbags on the top model and four airbags on the lower models. Available equipment, such as the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, manual air conditioning, rear wiper, and rear parking camera with sensors, has been upgraded.
