Considering how fast time has passed since she entered the industry, Akansha is candid about the challenges that come with aging in Bollywood. “At 18 when you start, you feel like you have your whole life ahead of you. Five or six years in, you feel like zindagi khatam go gayi hai. You’re like, yeh kya ho raha hai! Young people come and you have ADs calling you ‘ma’am’. A few years ago, I was the youngest person on the set. This change happens very quickly. You have to understand that everyone will have a different journey. If you haven’t become a professional by the age of 18, it doesn’t mean you won’t be successful. People have a mindset that you should start at 18 because you will eventually get married at 28,” she said.

He now believes that the pursuit of fame should not come at a price, and that having fun outside of work is just as important as work. “I told myself that I can’t stop my life. Zindagi toh jeeni hai. I want to live the rest of my life. I can’t be someone who says main acting karungi aur phir mar jaaungi,” he shares.

I don’t have to justify that. I don’t have to leave anything behind.”
