Aamir Khan kept it simple in a white striped kurta paired with matching trousers and black sunglasses, while Gauri wore a light green dress. Gauri’s son eagerly looked around taking pictures of the scene before running behind his mother to hold her hand.

Earlier this month, Aamir and Gauri tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at the actor’s residence in Bandra, in the presence of family and close friends, after dating for over two years.However, according to ANI, days after the marriage, Maulana Ibrahim Hussain, Shahi Chief Mufti of the Muslim Personal Darul Ifta, issued a fatwa against Aamir Khan on the marriage, saying it was not Sharia-compliant as Gauri was not a Muslim. In a video circulating online, the priest said, “Muslim mard ke liye, iman walon ke liye, gair Muslim se shaadi karna haraam hai.” He added that a Muslim man who marries a non-Muslim woman has committed a sin and said that those who do not accept this will answer to Allah.Responding to the controversy, Aamir explained that Gauri is not a Hindu, as many people think, and added that religion has never been a factor in his marriages.

This is Aamir’s third marriage. He was first married to Reena Dutta, with whom he shares children Junaid Khan and Ira Khan.
