The family of politician Khushbu Sundar has a new reason to celebrate. His elder daughter, Avantika Sundar, got married to Shravan Sreenivasan in an intimate ceremony held in Goa on Thursday evening. The secret story was discovered by relatives and close friends from the Indian film industry.Announcing the joy on social media, Khushbu shared the first pictures of the wedding and an emotional statement, saying the couple was “speechless” to see their daughter start a new chapter.Wedding photographers captured several touching moments during the ceremony. One photo shows Avantika and Shravan holding hands in traditional silk attire, while another monochrome photo shows the groom kissing his bride on the forehead after the ceremony. Khushbu also posted a family photo with her husband and filmmaker Sundar Cyoung daughter Anandita, the newlyweds and their pet. While Avantika chose a pastel pink ensemble for the event, Shravan and the entire family wore matching gold outfits.

Sharing the news, Khushbu wrote that the event was full of gratitude and a lot of emotions.“Right now we have nothing to say, because words seem insufficient to express the emotions we are experiencing,” he wrote.The actor added that family has always been important in their lives and that they have always believed that “marriages are made in heaven.”Announcing the wedding, he wrote, “With great joy and gratitude, we, Sundar C and Kushboo Sundar, are pleased to share the good news that our beloved daughter, Mrs. Avantika Sundar, got married to Mr. Shravan Sreenivasan on 25th June 2026.”Reflecting on the ceremony, she said: “Surrounded by the love of family and close friends, we witnessed a moment that will remain etched in our hearts forever. The love, affection, and kindness that surrounded us made the ceremony truly magical.”Khushbu revealed that the marriage was kept on purpose, as per the wishes of the couple.“It was a small and intimate celebration, exactly as the family saw it, and we were honored to fulfill their wishes. Although the wedding was a private one, it saw the presence of several celebrities from the entertainment industry. Trisha Krishnan, Khushbu’s close friend, attended the event along with guests from the Tamil, Telugu and Hindi film industries.Among the attendees were Telugu superstars Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh and Nagarjuna, who attended with their wives. Bollywood actors Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor were also spotted at the celebrations. Khushbu also invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and politician Vijay to the wedding. However, the three officials could not attend the event.
