Akshay Kumar is often hailed as one of the most athletic and hardworking actors in Bollywood, and his Welcome To The Jungle co-star Akshara Singh has now shared a glimpse of his dedication to his profession.The Bhojpuri actress, who made a special appearance in the song Ghis Ghis Ghis from the recently released comedy, recalled how Akshay continued shooting despite suffering from fever.
‘He had a fever of 103-104 degrees at the time of the shooting’
Speaking to ANI, Akshara praised the actor’s talent and revealed that she was battling a serious viral infection during the shoot.“The biggest thing was that he had a fever of 103-104 degrees while shooting. I kept watching him and I realized that he really loves his job and his skills. He works with great responsibility and dedication,” he said.According to the actress, despite not looking good, Akshay did not let his illness interfere with his schedule. Instead of taking a long break in his junk car, he decided to continue painting and living.Akshara was impressed with how the actor managed to hide his displeasure when the cameras started rolling.He said that the moment the director called for action, Akshay transformed, bringing his energy and infectious smile to the scene despite his illness.

For Akshara, who is one of the most famous and highest paid actresses in Bhojpuri cinema, sharing screen space with Akshay Kumar was an unforgettable experience.Recalling how he got the song in Ahmed Khan’s direction, he said, “I got a call from Ahmed Sir’s production house. I was told there was a song in Welcome To The Jungle and I had to do it. “Undeterred about her offer, the actress said her doubts disappeared when she got a call from renowned choreographer Ganesh Acharya.“He asked me if I would do the song. I asked what song it was, and he said it was an amazing song and that I would love it. He encouraged me to do it. And when I heard the name of Ganesh and Akshay’s boss, I was blank,” he revealed. Welcome to The Jungle with a great cast led by Akshay Kumar.
