Adam McKay says he wants to work with Will Ferrell again
In an interview with Business Insider, Adam McKay admitted that he misses working with Ferrell. When asked if she would like to work with him again, the actress happily admitted that she has been open to the idea for some time now.“We were always very close, we were very close. The only thing that caused a conflict between us was when we decided to dissolve our production company, Gary Sanchez. And I know it was said in a different way, but it really was”, he admitted, highlighting the reason why they stopped working together in the first place.“It’s a shame because we had a great creative partnership. I think we both ignored the challenges that go with not just having a company, but a very successful company,” he added, sharing that the two worked a lot under the banner of their company, and that they had an exit from each other.

McKay revealed that Ferrell wasn’t someone who wanted to release everything, and after that, it became too much work. He added, “I was really the one who wanted to make it, but the life of a movie star is very different from the life of a writer-director. So we parted. But life goes on. We had a great run. I certainly don’t have difficult thoughts and, who knows, we’ll see what happens.” He also concluded that the company was not something that Ferrell liked.
