Maruti Suzuki India has set a new standard Brezza. The model, as part of the updates, comes with slightly revised styling, new technology, enhanced safety features, and a new engine option. The refreshed SUV continues to compete with Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO and Skoda Kylaq. Here’s everything you need to know.
2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Design and cabin
Outside, the changes are subtle. The facelifted Brezza gets a redesigned front grille with dark chrome accents, a new front bumper, revised fog lamp housings and newly designed wheels. Customers can also opt for two-tone clothing, while the back styling remains unchanged from the outgoing model.The main changes are inside the cabin. The dashboard has been redesigned around a large 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The new configuration supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and is integrated with the ARKAMYS premium audio system. The top-of-the-range ZXi+ models also get ARKAMYS Surround Sense, Suzuki’s Next Gen Connect telematics suite with Alexa, air conditioning and voice commands activated with the “Hi Suzuki” wake-up call. The instrument panel has been redesigned with a TFT color display on the ZXi and ZXi+ models.Maruti has also contributed a comfort and convenience package. The updated Brezza now has ventilated front seats, wireless mobile phone charger, climate control, air purifier with PM2.5 display, electric sunroof, 64-color headlights on the top model, black and black leather upholstery, soft-touch dashboard, electric360-electric camera-electric360-electric sunroof.
2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Safety
Security sees one of the biggest additions. The Brezza becomes the third Maruti Suzuki model in India to offer Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), after the Victoris and e Vitara. Depending on the variant, the SUV is available with features such as blind spot warning and lane change, rear cross-traffic alert, exit warning, front traffic lights and tire monitoring system. Standard safety equipment on all models includes six airbags, Electronic Stability Program with Hill Hold Assist, ISOFIX child seat boosters, front seat belts with pretensioners and parking sensors with infographic display.
2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Powertrain
Under the hood, the SUV can be equipped with a new 1.0-liter Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual. This power produces 110 hp and 170 Nm.The Brezza continues with the 1.5-litre NA petrol engine (103 hp, 140 Nm) with Smart Hybrid technology. It is available with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters, and the automatic claims a fuel consumption of 20.17 kmpl. Customers looking for the CNG option can opt for the factory-equipped S-CNG variant, which delivers a claimed 26.90 km/kg and saves boot space thanks to its under-cylinder design.In general, Brezza remains unchanged, 3,995 mm long, 1,790. The refreshed Brezza will be offered in four variants: LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+. Buyers can choose from seven exterior colors, including new shades of Vivacious Orange and Lustrous Beige, alongside Pearl Arctic White, Sizzling Red, Splendid Silver, Magma Gray and Bluish Black. Two-tone options with a Bluish Black roof will also be available. Maruti Suzuki offers a warranty of three years or 1,00,000 kilometers, extendable up to six years.
