Salman Khan‘s Sikandar may have failed to impress at the box office, but the film continues to be at the center of the debate about the superstar’s work ethics. After the director AR Murugadoss is said to have criticized Salman due to the success of the film and said that the actor will arrive late, the actor Vindu Dara Singh has come in support of a Bollywood star.

Vindu refutes Salman’s claims of coming late in the schedule

In a recent interview with Kadak, Vindu, who has shared the screen space with Salman in several films, strongly refuted the claims of the actor’s lateness.“Maine Salman ke saath 5-6 pictures ki hai. He is clear agar unko 10 baje bulaya hai, he will be there at that time. Agar unki need 7 baje hai ku wo 7 baje aayga, maybe 9-10 baje jo time director bolega uss time aata hai. Ye galat baat hai ki Salman said late aata hai. After being interpreted, the actor said that Salman is very sure that he will work on time and he will arrive according to the schedule set by the director. He also said that the perception that Salman arrives late most of the time is wrong.Vindu also said that Salman often works only on one project, which leaves room for conflict resolution. The actor also said that because Salman devotes himself to one shift, questions about him arriving late on the set do not come out as he wants.

Vindu remembers the conversation with Salman after Sikandar’s failure

During the interview, Vindu also recounted the conversation he had with Salman following Sikandar’s disappointing performance at the box office.“Main poocha ye kya ho gaya. Unhone bola Ye (AR Murugadoss) bhi fail ho gaya. Dekh le, jab picture nhi chalti hai to aise blame krte hai,” he recalled.According to Vindhu, Salman said that when a film fails to perform as expected, it is often criticized among the stakeholders.

‘Salman is a very sensitive person’

Concluding his speech, Vindu described Salman as a person who is very emotional even though he doesn’t always show it in public.“Salman bahut hi sensitive aadmi hai. He may not show it, but jo yaad rakhta hai wo sensitive bhi hoga,” he said. The actor added that Salman’s ability to remember and stay in touch with people shows a complex side of his personality that many may not immediately see.
