UPPSC GIC Lecturer Result 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced the UP GIC Lecturer Result 2026 for all 13 subjects on its official website. Candidates who appeared for the preliminary recruitment examination can now check their eligibility status through the subject-wise result PDF released by the commission.The results determine the shortlist of candidates who proceed to the next stage of the recruitment process, i.e. the main examination. The board also clarified that separate notifications regarding the main examination schedule and online application process for eligible candidates will be issued later.

UPPSC has released separate result PDFs for all 13 subjects included in the Government Inter-College (GIC) lecturer recruitment exercise. Subjects include Sociology, Geography, Hindi, English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics, Civics, History, Biology, Urdu and Sanskrit.Candidates can download the corresponding PDF file from the official website of the board and search its roll number to confirm their eligibility to appear for the main examination.The council also publishes participation and qualification statistics for a number of subjects.In sociology, a total of 31,116 candidates registered and 9,430 candidates took the preliminary examination. Out of the candidates who appeared for the examination, 806 candidates have been declared eligible to appear in the main examination.In geography, 23,951 people registered and 11,378 people took the exam. A total of 1,927 candidates qualified for the main examination based on their performance in the preliminary round.The Commission noted that candidates who did not achieve the prescribed minimum qualifying marks would not be included in the list of successful candidates.
