UP PCS 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has extended the last date to apply online for the Combined State/Superior Subordinate Services (PCS) (General/Special Recruitment) examination 2026 to August 3. Recruitment is currently underway for 500 vacancies and online applications will begin after the official notification is released on June 25, 2026.Candidates seeking to apply must complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process before submitting the application form. Applications are accepted online through the Commission’s official portal. This recruitment announcement has been released, announcement number: A-1/E-1/2026.Important dates for applicantsThe notice was released on June 25, 2026, and online registration began on that day. The last date to pay exam fees and submit online applications has been extended to August 3. Candidates have until August 10 to make corrections or modifications to the submitted application and complete fee verification.Eligibility, vacancies and application feesThis recruitment offers 500 vacancies in the Combined State/Superior Subordinate Services (PCS) Examination 2026. Applicants must hold a graduate degree from an accredited institution. From July 1, 2026, the age limit is 21 to 40 years old. The age will be relaxed as per the official notification.The total application fee for candidates belonging to UR, OBC and EWS categories is Rs.125. SC and ST candidates have to pay Rs 65 and veterans also have to pay Rs 65. People with disabilities will only have to pay an online processing fee of Rs 25.Selection Process and Application ProcedureThe selection process includes preliminary examination, written examination, interview, document review and physical examination.To complete the application process, candidates must first complete a one-time registration and obtain an OTR number. They will then need to verify their details on the board’s website, fill up the online application form, pay the stipulated exam fee through an approved online payment method and submit their application. Candidates are advised to retain a printed copy of the submitted application form for future reference.
