Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has started the first phase of online option entry process for TS LAWCET 2026 counseling on July 28, 2026. Candidates who have completed the registration and certificate verification process can now submit their preferred law schools through the official TGCHE counseling portal.Online option entry is a crucial stage in the admission process for candidates seeking admission to the three-year LLB and five-year integrated LLB courses offered by participating institutions across Telangana. Only candidates whose credentials have been successfully verified will be eligible to exercise the networking option during the first phase of counseling.First phase tutoring scheduleAs per the official coaching schedule, candidates can submit their online option from July 28 to July 31, 2026. Editing of submission selections will be available on August 1, allowing applicants to modify the order of preferences before the options are frozen.The tentative quota allocation results for the first phase are expected to be announced on August 5. Candidates who have been allocated a quota must report to the allocated institution between August 6 and 8 and go through the admission procedures, including document review.How to submit network optionsEligible candidates can complete the online option entry by visiting the official TGCHE admissions portal and selecting the “Network Option” link. Applicants must log in using their TS LAWCET 2026 roll number, date of birth and rank.After logging in, candidates can view the list of participating institutions and arrange the institutions in the order of their preference. After entering the options, candidates can save or submit their options. Applicants are advised to carefully verify all selections before final submission.Important instructions to candidatesTGCHE has not put any cap on the number of colleges that candidates can choose during the online selection process. Applicants are encouraged to select as many eligible universities as possible to improve their chances of securing a seat during the allocation process.Candidates are also advised to use a desktop or laptop computer rather than a mobile device to complete the selection process to minimize technical or interface-related issues when submitting preferences.Get a seat by consultationThe TS LAWCET 2026 counseling process will facilitate admissions to about 6,480 seats in the three-year LLB course and about 3,120 seats in the five-year integrated LLB course offered by participating law schools in the state.Seat allotment will be done based on TS LAWCET ranking, category, booking criteria, eligibility and college preference sequence submitted by the candidates during the online option entry process.
