Tom Hardy, best known for his work in ‘Peaky Blinders’ and ‘Venom,’ is interested in becoming a new character. The actor recently confirmed that he will make his first single as Frankie Pulitzer, aka Face Puller, and will release a rap album soon.
Tom Hardy released his first rap album
In collaboration with Czarface, the legendary hip-hop group, Tom Hardy brings his rap, Face Puller, to the big stage. While this isn’t the actor’s first foray into rap music, it will be his first official release in years. The actor gained notoriety a few years ago after his 1999 rap mixtape was leaked online.Billboard also reported that they will be working with Czarface, which features 7L & Esoteric and Wu-Tang Clan’s Inspectah Deck. The title of the album has been set as ‘Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer’, and it is set to be released on August 28. To announce the release of the album, the band has already dropped their first single from their upcoming album titled ‘Brothers Grimm.’What makes this even more interesting is that some of the collaborations on this album include Busta Rhymes, Method Man, and EL-P (Jaime Meline). This won’t be the first time Hardy and Czarface have teamed up, as the star previewed some of the band’s songs from their ‘Good Guys, Bad Guys’ EP.
About Busta Rhymes and Tom Hardy
Back in 2024, Busta Rhymes and Tom Hardy made headlines after the rapper visited the star at his concert. Not only that, but they also shared their experiences online and, at the time, revealed that they would be working together soon. The caption read, “I keep telling you that blessings don’t, so we’ll never stop. Tom Hardy is an amazing Dragon, stay tuned.”Hardy also stated that Rhymes is one of his inspirations for the voice acting he uses when portraying Venom on the big screen. In an interview with BBC Radio 1, he said that “I mix a little Busta Rhymes, Method and a little Redman, James Brown, and Richard Burton.”
Tom Hardy’s uncertainty with ‘MobLand’
The news also comes at the same time as the uncertain future of the player with ‘MobLand.’ Since last month, there have been reports that the actor has been removed from his leading role on the show as Harry Da Souza, the chief designer of the Harrigan family. Puck also addressed the issue, saying that some of the reasons he was fired from the show included that he was often late for work, trying to change the dialogue, and arguing with the producers of the show several times.
