The announcement did not include Swift and Kelce’s nuptials, but a law enforcement official briefed on security plans said the wedding would take place on Friday, with a small rehearsal dinner on Thursday night.Nine of the organizations nominated are in New York, from Food Bank For NYC, City Harvest, to Musical Mentors, a non-profit that connects music teachers with students in need.The amount of money each charity received was not disclosed.Other charities pointed out where Swift and Kelce also call home, including the Rhode Island Community Food Bank – where Swift has a location in Watch Hill – and Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri – where Kelce plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.Answer the Call took to their right to share a statement that read, “We are so grateful to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for their generous gift, helping us provide life-long support to more than 500 NYC first responder families.”The statement went on to say, “Their extraordinary contributions will ensure that we can continue to provide much-needed financial assistance to the families of New York City’s fallen first responders. We thank them for their kindness, generosity, and for keeping our promise. Because of their support, our families will continue to receive the care and support they need, and will not have to walk.”“A number of ethnic groups also received funding, including Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, a book donation program led by the music legend; American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and Feeding America.Shortly after the couple heard about the generous gift, the characters took to social media to write words of thanks to the stars that preceded their wedding. In these letters, some organizations indicated that they had received donations of between USD 1 million and USD 2 million.Feeding America wrote, “Thank you @taylorswift13 and @tkelce for your generous gift of $2M to Feeding America! Your support brings us all closer to a future where everyone has the food they need to thrive. So it’s great to have friends like you who appreciate the movement to end hunger.”The RI Food Bank also posted a letter that said, “In honor of their wedding, @taylorswift13 & @tkelce donated an incredible $1M to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank!
