Now, Stebin has spoken out about what happened and explained what really happened.Speaking to Galatta India, Stebin said there is no problem between his parents and Nupur, adding that his parents are not comfortable looking at the cameras.“My parents are easy-going people, when they see the media, they leave quietly because they think the media is about me, not them. They think, ‘This is your job. People want to see you, not us.’Recalling the moment captured in the now-viral photo, he said, “My parents didn’t know that the media was standing there. The moment they saw the torches, they started walking forward. Nupur tried to stop them, but they didn’t realize that someone was calling them. They just thought, ‘Media hai, chalo nikalte hain.’Stebin said the story that her mother deliberately neglected Nupur was far from the truth.“People say that Nupur has terrible in-laws, but it is exactly the opposite. If you meet my parents, you will understand that they are very simple people. Their whole life revolves around their children.”He revealed that his parents had originally planned to go to Kerala but changed their plans because their children wanted to stay close.“My parents wanted to quit their jobs and live in Kerala because they loved their fields and the peaceful life there. But they decided to stay with us because we insisted.”

Stebin joked about the internet scandal that happened in his family and said that Nupur shares a good relationship with her mother.“If Indians want to know the status of my mother’s relationship with Nupur, the answer is this – whenever we play at home, my mother and Nupur are in the same team. My father and I are on the other side. That’s the kind of bond they share. “
‘We were friends long before we got married’
Opening up about his relationship with Nupur, Stebin said their love grew naturally after years of friendship.“I have known the Nupur family since 2020. During the lockdown, none of us had many friends, so our families spent a lot of time together.”He added that Kriti Sanon they lived as a couple long before marriage with Nupur.“Kriti has been like my sister and my friend. We would go out for dinner, go for walks together and be like a family.Reflecting on their relationship, she said, “Our friendship lasted for many years before marriage. Now those questions stop.’ It’s good because people can talk about music and my work instead.”The singer also said that he has only achieved “five percent” of what he dreams of achieving.“Out of 100, I feel I have achieved only five. This year I have prepared everything very aggressively. I want to release more music, give people more music, more content, more soundtracks and more partnerships.”He revealed that he already has several projects lined up, including a music video.“Recently I released ‘Tera Ho Jaaun’ featuring Varun Dhawan, and the title of Salman Khan’s upcoming film Matrubhoomi is also in my lyrics. There are many singles and collaborations coming up. I have a lot of songs in my pipeline, and I am announcing international collaborations.”
