Staff Selection Committee (SSC) has extended the option-cum-preference submission window for the 2025 Combined High Schools (CHSL) examinations. As per the new notification issued on June 22, 2026, candidates can now submit or modify their preferences before 11:59 pm on June 25, 2026.The committee stated that the process and submission methods will remain consistent with those mentioned in the earlier notification issued on June 19, 2026.In the latest notification, the SSC informed the candidates that the option-cum-priority window, which was scheduled to close on June 23, has been extended by two more days.Candidates who have not submitted their preferences or wish to make changes can do so through the SSC official portal before the revised deadline.
Why does choice-cum-preference matter?
SSC clearly stipulates that candidates must submit their options and preference forms within the stipulated period.Candidates who fail to submit their preference during the First Round Tentative Allocation (FRTA) or final selection process will not be considered for any position. The committee also clarified that no additional opportunities will be provided after the deadline.
