Staff Selection Committee (SSC) will close the registration process for the 2026 Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examinations today (25 June 2026). Eligible candidates who are yet to complete the application process can submit the form through the SSC official website before the last date.The Commission reopened the application window after receiving requests from candidates who failed to register within the original deadline. The extension provides eligible applicants the last chance to apply for one of the largest recruitment exams in the country.According to SSC, more than 2.8 million candidates have successfully submitted their applications for SSC CGL 2026.The reopening application process begins at 11:00 pm on June 23, 2026, and will remain in effect until 11:00 pm on June 25, 2026.Candidates are advised not to wait until the last minute and complete the registration process as early as possible to avoid technical issues caused by heavy website traffic.SSC CGL 2026 recruitment exercise is ongoing for more than 12,000 vacancies in various central government ministries, departments and offices.
Payment deadline
Candidates who have completed their application during the extended registration period will be able to pay the application fee online before 11:00 pm on June 26, 2026.Applicants must ensure successful completion of the application submission and fee payment process for their candidacy to be considered valid.

Apply correction window
After extending the registration period, the SSC has also revised the timeline for filing corrections.The application correction feature will be available from July 1 to July 3, 2026, with a closing time of 11:00 pm. During this period, candidates will be able to make permissible corrections to their submitted application forms.
Qualification date modification
The Commission has clarified that the revised application closing date of June 25, 2026 will be considered as the critical date for determining the applicable eligibility conditions as per the SSC CGL 2026 notification.
No other conditions change
Apart from the revised registration, fee payment and correction window dates, all other terms and conditions mentioned in the original SSC CGL 2026 notification issued on May 21, 2026 remain unchanged.Candidates who have not yet applied are advised to complete their registration before the application window closes today.
