Raveena Tandon and Akshay Kumar all set to reunite on the big screen after 22 years with Welcome To The Jungle. The actors, who have shared screen space in many popular movies over the years, were last seen together in Police Force: An Inside Story in 2004.For Raveena, returning to the sets with Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and the director Ahmed Khan It felt less like work and more like reuniting with old friends.
‘There was such comfort’
Speaking to NDTV, Raveena also shared her experience of working with her longtime co-stars.“It was great to be back working with Sunil and Akshay again, with Ahmed. We are both old friends and have known each other for a long time. And Farida ji played my mother in Ziddi and many other films. So, it was a relationship that both of us have known each other for a long time,” he said.The actress added that the comfort and familiarity between the actors makes the experience more enjoyable.“There was so much comfort that we sat on the couch and complained, even with Paresh. I think it was really fun,” she shared.
Raveena appreciates Akshay’s dedication
Raveena also spoke highly of Akshay Kumar’s career and his evolution as an actor over the years.“To Akshay, I can say that he was and is a very dedicated actor, and he will always be. The amount of what he gives to the film – the only change is that maybe now it has doubled,” he said.Reflecting on their early days in the industry, Raveena revealed that all the actors were still learning the ropes when they started.“Before, when we started our work, we were young but still learning, but now he has mastered his skills. He has been a master at his job,” he added.
