Riding on the set of ‘Ramayana’, Ranbir touched on his experience of sharing the film with Yash. He said, “Lord Rama and Ravana will appear together at the end of the film, perhaps with a meeting in between. But, I have known Yash for a while now and have become a huge fan of his work. I really believe we need someone with the aura, the popularity, the attitude to do this.“Commenting on how this Ravana is different from the earlier portrayals in Nitesh Tiwari’s film, Ranbir added, “He has played with such swag, aura, and sincerity that he has really brought Ravana to life. Yash on the importance of purpose
Yash, meanwhile, said that his faith in the film came for the team to achieve its goals. “The goal is the most important thing. If you have the right goal and the right team, everything will fall into place. The story itself has so many aspects that we have started to think about many aspects of life when we are making this film. Technically, yes, it was necessary with the production and the look. There were many difficulties but in the end, when you are trying to tell a story – and that is why we are all here. We love stories and we do everything we can to bring them in an authentic way. The launch of the trailer has been postponed, says Namit Malhotra
The Comic Con panel was supposed to end with the worldwide unveiling of the trailer on Friday morning, but producer Namit Malhotra shared that the launch has been postponed until later. In a social media post, he wrote, “Today is a very special moment for our ‘Ramayana’, my dream of taking Ramayana to the world has now come true with our partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment.” Based on the above, we will be launching our trailer globally soon. “In over 100 years of Indian cinema this will be the proudest moment when Ramayana will be screened globally like any other major Hindi film of the world.
