Ram Charan underwent surgery for an arm injury in Coimbatore on Sunday. The actor’s injuries worsened during the shooting of his release, ‘Peddi’ which is a comedy. According to the latest updates, the surgery went well and the actor is recovering well.

Earlier, this morning Ram Charan was seen arriving in Coimbatore for the event. According to India Today reports, the ‘RRR’ star was accompanied by his father Chiranjeevi, mother Surekha and his wife Upasana Konidela. The family stayed with him throughout his treatment and recovery.

The report also shows that Dr. S. Rajasekaran, Chairman of Ganga Hospital presided over the operation. Since the injury was serious, well-known hand and wrist specialist Dr. Alejandro Badia from Miami also joined the medical team.The operation was performed by Dr. S. Rajasekaran, Dr. Alejandro Badia, Dr. Praveen Bharadwaj is their team of experts. The doctors confirmed that the procedure went well and that Ram Charan is recovering well after the operation.According to a statement from the hospital, Ram Charan has been advised to take complete rest and follow a proper rehabilitation program before returning to work.Doctors have advised him to stay away from professional activities for a few weeks. He will resume shooting only after receiving medical clearance.

Meanwhile, Ram Charan will work with ‘Pushpa’ star Sukumar for a film titled, ‘RC17’. The film marks the second venture of Ram Charan and Sukumar after working in the 2019 film “Rangasthalam” which turned out to be a huge hit. It is important to mention that Sukumar was a very important person in the making of ‘Peddi’.

‘Peddi’ directed by Buchi Babu Sana, made Rs 341.57 crore worldwide and collected Rs 244.34 crore from 123,607 screenings in India, according to trade analyst Sacnilk.
