OTT release around ‘Peddi’
Reports suggest that ‘Peddi’ is set to be on Netflix soon after the theatrical release. According to Filmnagar buzz, the first OTT date is considered to be July 2. The film is expected to release in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. However, some reports indicate that the date may be changed to July 16. An official confirmation from Netflix or the producers is still awaited.
The makers of ‘Peddi’ plan a great event
Following the strong response at the box office, the makers are planning a celebration event in Hyderabad. The event is expected to be held at Shilpa Kala Vedika on June 23 at 6 pm.Meanwhile, ‘Peddi’ continued to perform well into the third week with a mid-week drop. Sacnilk reports indicate that the film earned Rs 83 lakh in India on its 19th day. This marks a huge drop compared to Sunday’s collection of Rs 2.82 crore, which marks a 70.6% drop in daily earnings.The video was shown in 1,734 shows on Monday. ‘Peddi’ recorded 18.27 percent audience on Day 19. With this, the film’s total collection in India has reached Rs 235.10 crore after 19 days in theatres.Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the sports action drama is Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor direction, with music composed by AR Rahman. On the other hand, ‘Peddi’ is also facing competition from Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s ‘Maa Into Bangaram’.
