ETimes’ Verdict for ‘Mollywood Times’
Reviewing the film, ETimes wrote, “Abhinav, who co-wrote with Ramu Sunil, provides a real relief from the hardships of life. Refreshing because, although it could have gone into darkness, the writers keep the story and the hero never thinks of giving up his dreams or really breaking his principles.” So the plot is compelling, but the story starts to feel confusing, especially in the second half. Several hurdles that come in the way of Vineeth’s dreams are from the unique style of Mollywood and are tiresome. The content on SC/ST privilege sounds strange and unnecessary. “With its first OTT premiere confirmed, ‘Mollywood Times’ is all set to reach the masses and is expected to have a cult following like Abhinav’s previous film ‘Mukundan Unni Associates’.
