Objections came from Chauhan’s group and the Kshatriya Parishad over the content of the promo, forcing the makers to replace Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub’s voice with another actor within days. Now, weeks later, the actor has broken his silence on the matter.

Without mentioning the film directly, he revealed that he was asked to “write a line without being named a few months ago.” Due to his association with Aanand L Rai for a long time, after appearing regularly in the director’s films – Zeeshan explained, “I did this honestly without asking much as I know the makers. As soon as the actor was released and I saw how he was (mis)used, I asked the filmmakers to remove my voice from the teaser because I have nothing to do with the film. “

The trailer for the title of ‘Chauhaan’ was released on June 25, marking the birthday of Ajay’s father, Veeru Devgn. They were discussing, “Pathaanon ko keh do Chauhaan aa raha hai,” which started a controversy online.

Reports suggest that the film was inspired by the incident outside the Jama Masjid, where Jammu and Kashmir police were deployed on Friday. During the meeting, the mob suddenly turned violent and started beating the police and CRPF personnel, not knowing that the undercover police were watching them all the time. However, the makers have to confirm whether ‘Chauhaan’ is based on real events.
