Speaking to ANI, Sonu Mishra revealed that he started casting for Salman Khan’s character, believing that the film will give a good story. However, his opinion changed when he understood the true purpose of the project.He said, “I had to portray Salman Khan’s character. When I realized that the film was made to tarnish the name of a famous person and the cultural history of Rajasthan, my morals did not allow me to be a part of the lies against the main actor. Following production differences with the producers, I decided to leave the film. “Mishra also said that the makers did not tell him the script. As for the perceived threats by the Bishnois, he was adamant, saying there was “no question” that they would receive such threats, adding that it was their own community. He said that films that show people’s contribution to society will be meaningful and legal disputes should be left to the courts.
