This time, Jumanji escapes his comfort and unleashes his chaos into the real world, blurring the line between fantasy and reality. The trailer also shows a new twist for the returning heroes. According to Variety, Johnson, Hart and Black will each portray different versions of their avatars. Johnson’s Dr. Smolder Bravestone is now speaking with a Spanish accent, while the characters of Hart and Black are described as “living in the show mode” and still working through several challenges. Inspired by the movie ‘Jumanji’ which happened in 1995 Robin Williams lead. The new video is said to include an Easter egg with the original.Jake Kasdan, who directed both ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’ (2017) and ‘Jumanji: The Next Level’ (2019), returns to direct the third film in the reboot trilogy. The launch of the trailer comes after Sony postponed the release of the film for the Christmas window, moving it from its original date of December 11. The move will put “Jumanji: Open World” for a separate worldwide release, a few days after the conflict of “Dune: Part Three” and “Avengers: Doomsday”, both of which are expected to open on December 18.The film’s release also creates a top box office clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming ‘King’, at the international box office. The film is set to hit Indian cinemas during the Christmas holidays. If it goes through with the controversy, the Bollywood film will face a lot of competition at the international ticket windows. The Christmas window was a success in the past for the commercials of ‘Jumanji’. Apart from the original, which was released on December 15, 1995, ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’ opened on December 20, 2017, and became a worldwide hit, earning more than USD 960 million worldwide. Its sequel, ‘Jumanji: The Next Level’, will follow in 2019.
