Despite rain washing out the T20I opener against India, England wicketkeeper Jos Buttler achieved a major personal milestone by completing 100 dismissals in T20 Internationals. Buttler reached the landmark when he produced a blistering stumping to dismiss Harshit Rana off the bowling of Adil Rashid during India’s innings. The former England captain was quick to gather Rashid’s googly after Rana charged the field in search of a big hit. Battered by the innings, the Indian batsman failed to come back in time as Buttler hit the bails in a flash, registering his 100th T20I dismissal behind the stumps.With the feat, Buttler became only the second wicketkeeper in T20I history and the first for England to complete 100 dismissals, joining South Africa’s Quinton de Kock, who leads the list with 117 dismissals.
