Actor and former WWE champion John Cena surprised fans by sharing a photo of his shaved head following the second round of his hair transplant treatment. The actor, took to his handle to post a picture of himself smiling while talking to his doctor and was not shy about admitting his hair restoration process.Cena posted a photo from the Anderson Center for Hair in Atlanta after undergoing a second Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) procedure. Sharing the update, Cena wrote, “Round 2 of FUE Treatment and this time I went for the best results. Thank you @KenAndersonMD and the staff at Anderson Center for Hair for taking me on this journey!”According to Manthu, this procedure is a gradual hair replacement process in which hair follicles are taken from another part of the scalp and placed in thinning or thinning areas.Fans were quick to react to her recent change on social media, with many praising the actor for coming clean about the hair transplant and helping to ease the embarrassment of the experience. One wrote, “John Cena continues to be an inspiration to all of us who have gotten or want a hair transplant. In honor of his 2nd cycle here is the moment I talked to him about him.”Another said, “going public with shaved recovery photos is a real change here, not the process itself. The actor previously revealed that his decision to go this route came after joking around with WWE fans.After the first hair treatment with Dr. Ken Anderson in November 2024, the star spoke to People and revealed how WWE fans encouraged him not to harm his health. “They accused me. They won’t let you call, because they are eating you alive,” he said. “That’s what a good support system does.”Cena added, “I saw their signs that said ‘John Cena is bald.’ He forced me to look at my options.”Following his first transplant, Cena said the procedure “changed my life a lot” and gave him more confidence to pursue a career in wrestling.The actress also spoke candidly about the stigma surrounding cosmetic procedures. “I hate the fact that if there wasn’t so much shame, I would have done it 10 years ago,” he said.Cena is currently working on Matchbox: The Movie, in which he plays Sean.
