Punjabi singer Jasmine Sandlas has come under fire after several attendees of her Hyderabad concert said the event did not go well and did not live up to their expectations. Jasmine, who recently sang multiple songs for ‘Dhurandhar’ and ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ which was held at the Quake Arena in Hyderabad on June 27. However, many of the concertgoers said they arrived nearly three hours late and were said to have lip-synced during the performance.Apart from criticizing the singer, the attendees also criticized the event organizers for mismanagement, lack of communication and long delays. Several social media users described the incident as “a new way to trick people.”One attendee, Instagram user Abhiruchi Gupta, shared a detailed account of his frustration. Calling herself a fan of Jasmine Sandlas, she said the concert was disappointing.“The show was supposed to start at 8 pm @jasminesandlas you came at 11:20 with no acknowledgment or apology at all ?? THREE HOURS LATE!!! And then you come and lip sync, literally, at a live show ??? Then suddenly leave at the end, with no thanks, apologies or anything!!” he wrote.He added that he would not recommend Jasmine’s concerts to anyone, calling them “the worst experience” and “my worst experience.” Soon, many others who claimed to have attended the concert described similar experiences in the comments. Another user wrote, “Horrible experience! We waited from 8 to 11.30 and then left as we had a long journey back. There was no information about the delay. The management staff is very bad, with a very rude attitude. People should be warned about how the Earthquake event is a scam of the worst kind.”Another said, “Really, the worst experience is the miserable management!”A third user said, “Every @quakearenahyd show starts 3 hours late. ALL THE FU****G THINGS on Earthquake. I’m glad I skipped this even when I wanted to do it so badly. “One attendee simply described it as a “super flop show”.The incident has sparked a conversation online about the importance of punctuality at live events, effective communication with the audience and the responsibility of organizers to deal with technical delays. Many felt that if there was a real reason for delay, the attendees should have been informed in advance.So far, neither Jasmine Sandlas nor the organizers of the Hyderabad concert have publicly responded to the allegations.
