‘Welcome To The Jungle’ saw the hit song ‘Tera Paisa Mera Paisa’ at the Mumbai multiplex, and Akshay KumarFarida Jalal, Jacqueline Fernandez, Jackie ShroffParesh Rawal, Suniel Shetty, Rajpal Yadav, Kiku Shardaand Vindoo Dara Singh is hosting the event along with director Ahmed Khan and the producers Firoz A. Nadiadwallah and Rakesh Dang. The event also saw Firoz making a rare appearance at a film promotion event after a long time.

The song was played for the audience to start the event, after which Akshay Kumar took the stage and asked, “Yahaan kaun hai jisko paisa accha nahin lagta?” When someone in the crowd raised his hand to his cheek, Akshay laughed, “Usne haath khada kiya. Usko bahar nikaal!” Then the actor became serious for a moment, adding, “Everybody wants money. It’s good to earn money. With money, you can run your house, pay the electricity and go on vacation.“

Akshay then invited all the actors and producers to join him on stage. He gave a loving introduction to one of the attendees, saying, “I would like to introduce a beautiful lady whom we all love. Her name is Farida Jalal.” In a touching moment, Suniel Shetty and Jackie Shroff gently held her hand and escorted her on stage.

One seat was reserved on the stage for Farida, but she lovingly encouraged Akshay to take it. Akshay smiled and laughed, “Main baithu? Aur aap khadi rahenge? Aur fir press humein chhod degi?” He then proceeded to introduce the next guest, saying, “I want to call the main actor, Jackie dada,” before quickly correcting himself. “Oh wait, Paresh bhai is the greatest actor. May 30, 1955 ko paede hue insaan, Paresh bhai, upar aaiye! Dada was born on February 1, 1957, that is, two years later. So, you are the second oldest.

Jackie was playful and decided to tease Akshay, telling him, “Lekin daadhi teri safed lag rahi hai!” Akshay laughed and replied, “Aap kya daadhi kaali karwake nahin aate kya? Poori pol khol doonga!” Then the actor changed his look, saying, “There is always a king in the jungle. The king of our film is our producer, Firoz A. Nadiadwallah.”

During the Q&A session, Farida was asked about her decision to board the film. He continued to impress, saying, “Show the film and you will get the answer. I will surprise you all! And the men who created that fear are Ahmed Khan and Akshay Kumar.” Akshay was quick to support her, assuring the audience, “Farida Jalal ji has done the best comedy in this film, followed by Kiran Kumar ji and then the rest of us.”

When a reporter pressed Farida to reveal a little about her role, Akshay jumped up and shouted, “Nahin. Nahin!” Farida smiled and gracefully held herself to say, “I wish I could, but I can’t.” However, Akshay couldn’t control himself and ended up saying, “Farida ji yeh bhi nahin bata sakti ki inki dialogue delivery kaisi hai!”.

‘Welcome To The Jungle’ is all set to hit theaters on June 26, with a pay-per-view show scheduled for the evening of June 25.
