Over the years, Nitesh Tiwari has been known for delivering films that combine emotional storytelling with powerful performances and relatable themes. An IIT graduate before entering Bollywood
Born on May 22, 1973, in Itarsi, Madhya Pradesh, Nitesh Tiwari completed his bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy and Material Science from. IIT Bombay in 1996. After graduating, he worked in advertising, where he developed his creative and storytelling skills before transitioning to film editing.
Unforgettable debut is ‘Chillar Party’
Nitesh Tiwari started his directorial journey with “Chillar Party” in 2011, a children’s film he co-directed. The film was critically acclaimed for its poignant storytelling and won the National Award for Best Children’s Film, giving the filmmaker an impressive start to his career.
‘Dangal ‘ became a world phenomenon

In 2019, Nitesh Tiwari directed ‘Chhichhore’, a coming-of-age drama starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor, and the entire cast. The result was nationally recognized when it won the National Award for Best Film in Hindi.
