Emma Watson, according to PEOPLE reports, was present at the Royal Foundation’s United for Wildlife business meeting. The event was held on Monday and was attended by various people. At the conference, Watson was one of many invited to speak on the issue.United for Wildlife also shared photos from the evening on their Instagram page, including a glimpse of Watson alongside “The Roses” actress and Prince William. The caption on the post says the event was “a conversation about the environment and our shared responsibility to protect it.”Watson spoke when invited on stage at the event. He said, “Storytelling is really powerful, and the story you tell as a nation, and the freedom you have and the way you talk about these issues, is important. The video of his speech, as well as those of Prince William and Benedict Cumberbatch, were also shared on the same account. The artist also wrote about the events on his account. Sharing photos of the event, he wrote, “Trafficking in wild animals is the tip of a very destructive iceberg. It can be the canary in the coal mine for industries that do the most harm (but therefore have the most opportunity to impact) to people and the planet!”

The actress also recalled an interesting incident in her speech when she thought that many people with cameras were waiting for her near her residence. He said, “And I thought, ‘Today is the day. It’s done, my dear. So, [someone] I went outside to talk to them with their long glasses and I sneaked to another way, and it turned out that the men with long glasses were not with me at all. They were there for a very rare bird, called the red kite. And they would try, to get into my back garden because they thought one of these red kites was in our backyard. “Over the years, Watson has been committed to philanthropy and using her voice to give back to those in need.
