After gathering defenders, ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ saw another famous character of the Netflix era return to the franchise – Elodie Yung as Elektra.Two months after the show began its journey on Disney +, Elodie is back with her knives and a new outfit, in Season 3 of the popular series. The news follows months of teasing by the actress, who has been talking about Elektra’s big comeback.

Dressed in a red and black suit, Elodie was spotted on the set of the movie, thus officially joining Charlie Cox as Matthew Murdock aka Daredevil, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter as Luke Cage and Finn Jones as Danny Rand / Iron Fist.

According to photos published by Getty Images, Yung was photographed showing off his moves with his signature double. The set photos seem to confirm that he will be returning to the role since the Netflix Marvel shows ended. It remains to be seen if she will play the villain in the new season or if she will rekindle her damaged romance with Daredevil.The new season is also expected to feature the return of Wilson Bethel as the killer Bullseye.
Elektra was resurrected
However, the question remains as to whether Elektra will re-enter the story, considering that her character seems to have met her end in ‘The Defenders’. His return comes at a time when the villainous organization The Hand has been making waves to appear on the big screen with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’. His return raises questions about whether he will be cast in the MCU for the upcoming Spidey film.As the fate of the Hand will be answered in July only when the film is released, it is not known if the agency will have a future part of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’.Elodie’s Elektra has been resurrected three times.
