Dhamaal 4 Movie Review and Release Latest Updates: Ajay Devgn starrer eyes Rs 15 crore opening at box office

Actor Jaaved Jaaferi, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film ‘Dhamaal 4’, has revealed whether he has faced any attention while portraying his character Manav in the film.

The actor spoke to IANS during the promotion of the film along with director Indra Kumar and actor Arshad Warsi.

By portraying a character for a long time, an actor gets a better understanding of the character, and knows what clicks and what doesn’t connect with the audience. Asked if being too serious about the character takes away from the fun, he said, “It’s really fun because you’re enjoying the character. You’re trying to think, you’re staying within the parameters of the character. You’re always thinking, ‘What can I add?’ without going outside the parameters. The main thing is, you have to stay within the boundaries of the person”.

He told IANS, “All actors understand the limitations of the characters they portray. Relax, the scripts are so good that they produce good work naturally. When the scripts are not good, the actor has two problems”.

Then he remembered: “During my father’s time, I have seen people say, ‘Sir, you are doing something that I have only had for two hours, you are doing something’.”

“Making a new comic for Gen Z is not ‘Dhamaal’. If a Gen Z kid comes then he can add to the character. Our character cannot be Gen Z”, he added.
