CSIR UGC NET 2026 Correction window closes: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) June 2026 application window today, July 23, 2026. Candidates who wish to make changes to their application form must complete the process by 11:50 pm, after which further corrections will not be allowed under any circumstances. The CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 joint examination is scheduled to be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode at examination centers across the country from July 17 to 18, 2026.The testing agency has made it clear that requests to change application details will no longer be entertained after the correction window has closed. - Click on the ‘Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 Correction’ link on the homepage of the website.
- Log in using your application number, password and security code.
- Edit your application form.
- Check the data and make necessary corrections in the editable fields.
- Save the edited form and submit it after approval.
- If the correction results in the payment of an additional amount, such as a change in category or change in PwBD status, payment is made through credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI.

Additional fees may apply in some cases
The NTA has also informed candidates that changes in certain categories may result in additional charges. If a candidate modifies details related to category or Benchmark Persons with Disability (PwBD) status and the modification results in an increase in the application fee, an additional fee will have to be paid online.Payment can be made through credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI.
