BOI Credit Officer Notification 2026: Bank of India has announced the recruitment of 779 vacancies for Credit Officer posts of various sizes under the General Banking Officer (GBO) category. A brief notice has been released, and detailed recruitment notices and online application forms will be released on the bank’s official website from June 30. The online registration process will also begin on the same day.This recruitment event is open to experienced credit professionals. According to the brief notification issued on June 28, eligible graduates can apply for the announced positions after the detailed notification is released. The complete notification will include post-qualification conditions and other recruitment guidelines.Recruitment details and selection processRecruitment is open for the posts of Credit Officer at the levels of MMGS-II, MMGS-III and SMGS-IV. The selection process will include online examinations and/or interviews, depending on the number of applicants and qualified candidates.The online exam will consist of 150 questions and will be worth 150 points. Each incorrect answer will result in a quarter point penalty. The salary range for the selected candidates is Rs. 64,820 Rs 1,02,300.Eligibility and age criteriaFor MMGS-II and MMGS-III posts, candidates must hold graduation degree from a recognized university or institution with at least 60% marks and 55% marks for SC, ST, OBC and PwBD candidates. Candidates possessing a two-year postgraduate qualification in CA, CFA, CMA-ICWA, MBA, PGDBM or a banking, finance or credit related discipline are also eligible.For SMGS-IV posts, candidates must have stipulated graduation marks along with MBA, PGDBM, two-year full-time Master’s degree in any discipline, or CA, CFA or CMA-ICWA qualification from a recognized institution.The prescribed age limit for MMGS-II is 25 to 35 years, for MMGS-III it is 28 to 38 years and for SMGS-IV it is 30 to 40 years.Application fees and registrationThe online application window will open on June 30. The last date to apply, fee payment schedule and final date to print the application form will be announced in the detailed notification.Candidates belonging to the general category and other categories have to pay an application fee of Rs. 850, including intimidation fee. Applicants in SC, ST and PWD categories need to pay Rs. 175 only for implied charges. The distribution of positions and the number of projects in each category will be informed in the detailed recruitment announcement.
