While there were earlier questions about the film or ‘Baahubali: The Epic,’ later announcements made it clear that it will be a drama series about the filming of ‘Baahubali’ and its impact on the actors.In an interview with Gulte, producer Shobu Yarlagadda earlier teased the project to fans and shared more details about the script. He said the project looks at the film’s impact on actors and its cultural significance over the years. He also revealed that many of his favorite actors and crew will be part of the documentary; however, the names of the participants have not been confirmed. The producer also informed that the project is being released as a celebration of 10 years of ‘Baahubali’ franchise.

Produced by SS Rajamouli, who is also known for his work in ‘RRR’ and ‘Magadheera,’ ‘Baahubali’ is a historical drama set around the fictional and ancient town of Mahishmati. The franchise revolves around two cousins competing for the throne, no matter the cost. The first two films were released in 2015 and 2017, followed by two animated films based on the film, a graphic novel, and a trilogy of English novels.The film’s lead actors included names like Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, and Tamannaah Bhatia.
