A veteran player Amitabh Bachchan has looked back at one of the busiest parts of his incredible career, recalling how he often switched from one film to another without taking a break. The popular actor revealed that he always works in several films at the same time. He explained that the important schedule was driven by his fear that his chance to play the game would end if he turned down a job.Sharing a heartfelt post on his blog, Amitabh explained how filmmaking has changed over the years. He observed that actors today spend a lot of time preparing for their roles. However, in his early years, such extensive planning was not possible because the actors were constantly juggling multiple films.

Amitabh Bachchan appreciates the way of preparation these days

Talking about the difference between the past and the present, Amitabh was impressed with the dedication shown by today’s players. He acknowledged the effort actors are now investing in to understand their characters before shooting.He wrote, “.. prep was an unknown word or expression for my generation and beyond .. now ‘it’ is a common word, where a person prepares for work to be done .. for me it was an unknown organization .. I see now the amount of work and pain, artists are put to enter the quality, in appearance and style and soundness, the best quality and the right analysis. to give this aspect more than necessary and to be the preparation of the work done..”The actor added that he really respects the dedication he is showing these days. He believes that the process has become more advanced than it was in his generation.

Big B remembers to schedule several films in one day

Amitabh also recalled how difficult it was to switch between different characters in a matter of hours. According to him, actors of his time often shoot 10 to 15 films at a time, which makes proper planning impossible.He wrote, “Good and interesting.. But in the good old days when we were all working on 10 to 15 films at the same time – many two or three on the same day, it would have been impossible to prepare one and then not prepare another… SAME DAY!!IN MANY TIMES IT WAS A GUIDE OR KNOWLEDGEABLE ASSISTANT WHO EXPLAINED THE PROCEEDINGS, WHEN YOU ARRIVED AT THE STUDIO OR LOCATION…many ask you how you went from one part to another during the day to take different films… (sic) “

The fear of losing his job stopped him

Amitabh also explained why he was willing to do such boring things. He admitted that not knowing about the future motivated him to keep saying yes to every opportunity.His words were (English), “If I hadn’t accepted the whole job, I would always worry if I would get opportunities in the future.” So I changed to suit whatever job I wanted. A few months later, when the films were released, I would watch them eagerly to see how I felt. There are so many more memories…maybe I’ll share them another time. Gratitude and love, pouring down like heavy rain.The veteran actor said that he usually gets the results of his acting only after a film hits the theaters after a few months.Fifty years after he made his debut, Amitabh Bachchan is still one of them Indian movie‘s very active star.
