The film, which finished its fifth day at the box office, benefited from ticket prices at major theaters.The film, which also marked the first female-led spy film in the YRF Spy Universe, reportedly saw a daily increase in collections on Tuesday. According to Sacnilk’s early estimates, ‘Alpha’ has earned Rs 4.25 crore net haul. With this, the film rose 10.4% on Monday’s total of Rs 3.85 crore. According to the report, the film also crossed Rs 4.89 crore in the country from 7,173 screens.The film opened with an estimated Rs 9.25 crore nett in India on Friday before seeing a good weekend growth. Its collections rose to Rs 11.50 crore nett on Saturday, while Sunday turned out to be the film’s biggest day at the domestic box office, with Rs 15.90 crore India gross.With its latest earnings, the film has taken its total India earnings to Rs 50.23 crore, while its total India earnings stand at Rs 42.10 crore.The film continued to do well at the overseas box office, according to the report, the film earned Rs 1.50 crore on its fifth day. This took its foreign exposure to Rs 19.80 crore. This combined with the domestic collections of the film, has now set the film to take Rs 70.03 crore worldwide.Sacnilk also reports that the film saw good growth on Tuesday, consistent with lower ticket prices at several chains. The video is said to have not only helped promote, a move expected to increase occupancy, but also increase footfall, especially among families and younger audiences. While many other films are facing a low mid-week, ‘Alpha’, with high ticket prices, helped the film to have a stable image at the box office.‘Alpha’, will now look to continue the rest of the week. It remains to be seen if the film will be able to cross the Rs 100 mark at the end of the 1st week. The film has one more week at the box office before it has to compete with new releases, including Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey’, which is slated to release in India next week.Set within the YRF Spy Universe, ‘Alpha’ stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in the lead, along with Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan. The film is already on track to become one of Alia’s highest grossing films to date.
