Diljit Dosanjh-starrer ‘Satluj’ has surfaced on piracy platforms just hours after it was pulled from the ZEE5 India platform.The drama, based on the life of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra, was taken down hours after its OTT release in India “until further notice”, sparking outrage among fans. Soon after the announcement of the film’s removal from its site, fans took to social media to share that recent versions of the film have been found online for illegal downloading and streaming.

Several users took to their social media handles to share images of the film which is available in various HD formats on various websites. Some even started sharing the link of the latest versions of the film, encouraging fans to watch the film.

Before it was removed, Dilji, while interacting with fans, was asked about the possibility of his video being removed after its release. In doing so, the actor countered, “Hun tension nai, sab ne kar layi download,” before adding, “Main tension free baitha.”The actor also insisted that he is not worried that the film might have been leaked on pirate sites. “Today is Saturday. I feel it may be removed on Monday. But don’t worry, you download it,” Diljit said while chatting with fans.

Announcing the cancellation of the film from their screens, ZEE5 said, “Given the current situation, Satluj will not be available in India until further notice. We remain committed to exploring every possible avenue through the right process to bring the film to our audiences as soon as possible.”Directed by Honey Trehan, ‘Satluj’ also stars Arjun Rampal, Kanwaljit Singh, Suvinder Vicky and Geetika Vidya Ohlyan.
