After being delayed for more than three years, Diljit Dosanjh‘s ‘Satluj’ has reached OTT platforms. After its release, the popular singer and actress got emotional and reflected on the hurdles she faced to get the film approved and released. ‘Satluj’, which was earlier titled ‘Punjab ’95’, tells the story of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra.

Taking to his Instagram account, the actor and singer spoke about the release of ‘Satluj’ and paid tribute to Jaswant Singh Khalra. He shared a scene from the film and wrote an emotional caption, sharing, “Finally After 4 Years of War.. The story of ‘Satluj’ is based on the real life of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra. Along with Dosanjh, who plays the lead role, the film also stars Arjun Rampal, Suvinder Vicky, Jagjeet Sandhu and Geetika Vidya Ohlyan. It is based on how Jaswant Singh Khalra helped investigate the fate of nearly 25,000 people who were reported missing during the insurgency in Punjab.
