Prince Harry is set to receive a major court ruling in his private lawsuit against a major UK publisher as he plans to return to the United Kingdom. The Duke of Sussex’s sentencing in the case of illegal information gathering by Associated Newspapers Limited is expected on Tuesday, July 7, when Harry is expected to return home.According to PEOPLE magazine, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were planning to bring their children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, to the UK in July. The couple is currently in Europe on a long-awaited trip, the time of the judgment coincides with their return.
The scope of the legal case

Reuters reports that both sides of the case are in high gear, with costs expected to reach into the millions of dollars. “The tab that the losing side has to pay,” he said. Harry and his so-called friends claim that the media, including the Daily Mail and the Mail on Sunday, published stories about them between the 1990s and 2011 with unauthorized information.
Prince Harry’s testimony and emotional impact
The case represents the last of Harry’s legal battles against the British media in recent years, as he challenged what he described as illegal in court. The Duke of Sussex made his final appearance in London at the hearing in January, where he detailed the personal and family impact of the long-running case.“Standing here and fighting with them, this has continued to follow me. And they have made my wife’s life very painful, my Lord,” Harry said in his testimony, speaking directly about how the case and the media attention surrounding it affected him and Meghan.

Harry explained how things are getting worse despite the fact that they have been on trial for years. “Through these cases, it’s only gotten worse, not better,” he told the court about the impact of media coverage over the years of the saga. He expressed his dismay at the continuing burden on his family. “It’s not really wrong to make all of us go through all this. What is needed is an apology and an answer. It’s a bad experience” he concluded emphasizing the emotional depth the case has taken him throughout the legal process. The juxtaposition of the judgment day with the family’s planned trip to the UK adds to the already difficult return to their home country due to the ongoing conflict and security concerns surrounding the trip.
