Renault India is all set to launch the new and updated Renault Kwid in the Indian market tomorrow i.e. July 3, 2026. Although the company has not yet revealed the full details, the teaser images and recent spy photos show that the model will receive a visual update, additional equipment and a revised cabin, while its engine is expected to remain unchanged.The 2026 Renault Kwid facelift is expected to receive a revised exterior and cabin while retaining its current strength. The refreshed hatchback is also expected to be priced slightly higher than the current model, which is available between Rs 4.30 lakh and Rs 5.88 lakh (ex-showroom). Renault will announce all smart models and prices on July 3.The exterior is expected to draw the Dacia Spring EV design. The spy shots show that the Kwid will continue with its split headlamps but will get Y-shaped daytime running lights and matching headlamps as well. Major parts of the head are expected to remain halogen. Renault is also expected to introduce revised front and rear bumpers along with new alloy wheels.On the inside, the Kwid is expected to feature a revised dashboard inspired by the Dacia Spring. A larger 10-inch infotainment system replaces the new steering wheel, revised instrument cluster and new upholstery. Although the cabin layout is expected to remain unchanged, Renault can offer six airbags as part of the safety package. The full list of products will be revealed at launch.Technically, the facelift is expected to continue with a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 67-68hp and 91Nm of torque. Transmission options will remain unchanged, with buyers expected to opt for a five-speed manual gearbox and a five-speed AMT. Renault is also expected to continue offering dealer-installed CNG equipment.
