A new allegation related to Nitesh Tiwari’s epic ‘Ramayana’ has created a controversy on the internet. Producer Dhruv Parikshit, who recently attended a special event for the makers of the film, says that the makers deliberately released Ranbir Kapoor’s version of Lord Rama with incomplete visuals to generate internet buzz and publicity.According to him, the plan was intended to create noise through audience discussion and criticism, resulting in what he called “free advertising.”
The creator shares what he does with the VFX team of the film
Following his visit, Dhruv posted pictures and videos from the event on social media. In response to a follower’s question about the visuals, he initially said that some of the images shown on the tour were not finished. He wrote, “Yes, it was not enough.” The images I saw there were on an ‘Avatar’ level. I am not exaggerating, they are really cooking something amazing. The setting and world of ‘Ramayana’ is very deep. “He also said that he spoke to the VFX artist who collaborated with the project, adding, “I also had the opportunity to speak with one of their VFX experts. He told me that the creators intentionally put a nerfed version of Rama’s glimpse. They had a good look of the scene, but they deliberately chose to release incomplete. Why?“
The original comment was removed after it went viral
Soon after, Dhruv deleted his original comment and reposted an explanation. He explained that the project is going well and appreciated the growth of the film.“VFX pe kaam chal raha hai, and kaafi accha kaam ho bhi Gaya hai. Humko kuch incomplete footages bhi dikhaye the and I believe vo already complete ho chuke hain mahino pahle hi. And bhai, human design!! They are beautiful! They are absolutely amazing. It’s like a beautiful country, but in an Indian setting. It will be a great theatrical event,” he wrote.Despite the clarification, images of his previous statements quickly spread on social media, leading to speculation about the film’s promotional strategy.
The master of ‘Ramayana’ had divided people
Earlier this year, the makers unveiled the first look of ‘Ramayana’, introducing Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama. While many praised the cast and ambition of the movie, others criticized certain aspects of the VFX, CGI and the appearance of some of the rakshasa characters. Later, the production team of the film assured people that the film will continue to be well developed before the film’s release.
