Ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli is working on his next big project ‘Varanasi’ with star cast Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra and Prithiviraj Sukumaran. The movie is currently in production and it seems that the makers have about 80 days left to shoot before it is completed.

More than 80 days left to shoot for ‘Varanasi’

According to a report by Pinkvilla, the ‘Baahubali’ director attended the ‘RRR’ release event in France. During his interaction, he spoke about the progress of ‘Varanasi’. He said that it is only a small part of the painting that is left before the completion of the film.Rajamouli said, “My producer is right there, so he wouldn’t let me reveal any details. I can say that we have completed the major parts of the action scenes of the film and we only have the small parts that have been wrapped up in 80 days.”

On the other hand, a few days ago, a Mid-Day report said that the team is planning a new shooting schedule from July 7 in Hyderabad. Mahesh Babu is expected to shoot with around 3,500 young artists. The team has been planning this plan for weeks. The war story is said to be one of the biggest films planned by SS Rajamouli. The scenes that will be shot in Hyderabad will be just the beginning of this big series.

About ‘Varanasi’

As for ‘Varanasi’, the film is said to be a travel film, which follows a devotee of Shiva who travels through different eras to find a lost cosmic object and superpowers.Mahesh Babu plays Rudhra in the film.
